In 1988 I married a wonderful man, David.  When I moved from my parents’ home to the home I first shared with my husband, I brought with me a pile of rabbits of various breeds and a goat.  While building the fences and shelters for my critters it seemed like my husband was always chasing cedar trees.  He worked for a land clearing company and would stock pile the cedars to return to later and retrieve. This is how I came up with the name "Cedar Chase Farm"

My dogs, crafting, woodworking and church have brought me so much joy and lead to the creation of "Cedar Chase Kennel" and "Cedar Chase Graphics" over the years.

Cedar Chase Kennel consists of 4 breeds that I breed as well as my husbands hunting dogs which consist of many beagles, walkers, coonhounds', redbones, and english redtick & bluetick hounds. 

For my 1 month wedding anniversay in 1988, we adopted our first Pekingese, Bandit.  For my 21st birthday in 1989 we adopted our second Pekingese, Sissy.  While searching for the Pekingese I found it very difficult to find many that we close enough for me to go see, didn't come with massive restrictions or requirements placed on me to fulfill and in a fair price range.  I knew there had to be more people out there that wanted a nice pup without all the hassles.  This was the beginning of PekeHaven Pekingese. Additional information is located at 'Kennel'>'PekeHaven'

Similarly to the search for the Pekingese, was the search for a Weimaraner.  My husband had them growing up and wanted another one.  It took me 5 years to find one that was close enough to go see and affordable to me.  I happened to luck out because the breeder was keeping this pup for herself and than had no choice but to part with her because of family issues.  So in 1995 WeimHaven Weimaraner was started! Additional information is located at Kennel'>'WeimHaven'

Unlike the Pekingese and the Weimaraner, searching for our Toy Poodle was less stressful.  A family member suggested that my daughter would probably like a little poodle since she used to raise them herself.  Their concern was the roughness in which most young children handle small dogs and thought that the Pekingese might be to "delicate" for her to be playing with.  I disagreed about the relationship between the Pekingese and children but thought why not.  So in 2006 we adopted Bailey a Toy Poodle.  You guessed it, PoodleHaven was born (PooHaven just did not sound right). Around 2008 I also decided to breed the Peke-A-Poo. I only do 1st generation breedings, meaning the mother is always the Pekingese and the father the Toy Poodle.  Additional information is located at 'Kennel'>'Peke-A-Poo'

Cedar Chase Graphics came to life officially in 2014.  Though I had been creating and crafting long before this.

I have always enjoyed crafting and making things.

I designed and printed invitations, signs and decorations for several weddings.  After 911, my mom who owned a tax and accounting business and a herb shop bought a heat press and started making shirts with decals purchased from various companies to sell in her store.  She even had us kids involved by taking orders and showing the finished products.  It was a great time after an event that changed the world to see everyone sporting USA apparel and being united. 

Eventually I decided to make shirts for my daughter's classes.  Then my craftmanship extended to several classes across the elementary school my daughter attended. 

In addition, to making shirts for classes in my daughter's elementary school, I expanded to creating shirts for individuals as well as groups. I also utilized my creativity for my nephew's wedding and custom made a banner for the occasion! 

 I have a great passion for designing wearable memories for all occasions and special events. One of my projects involved making custom shirts for my church's ladies retreat in 2023. The shirts, like the several I have made for other special occasions, featured the names of all attendees. This gives individuals the chance to relive the event for the rest of their lives. While I have spent most of my time designing wearable art and keepsakes, I also spend time with my Husband, David, uniting our skills to make custom utensil dispensers that can be utilized for any occasion. While I haven't taken the time to mention my array of keepsakes, here is a small list of some I have crafted over the years: tote bags, banners, cups, name badges, garden flags, house flags, baptism gifts, key chains, photo magnets, and more. I will work with you to make your one-of-a-kind design for any project.  If you can think of it, I will try my best to do it!  In fact, I will not say "it cannot be done" until I have exhausted all avenues to accomplish the task requested.  

I am not perfect by any means, but I will make you something you will be proud of.  My motto is....

For all my designs I use Silhouette Studio Software (business edition) to create them no matter what the final project will be.  I have two Silhouette cutting machines, the Cameo and the Cameo Pro that I use to cut out the designs.
